1½ Ritter - Auf der Suche nach der hinreißenden Herzelinde

Princess Herzelinde (Julia Dietze) is taken by the Dark Knight, and Lanze (Til Schweiger), the knight who loves her, sets out to bring her back. Rick Kavanian plays Erdal, a Turk who joins the quest as half a knight and an uneasy partner. Christof Wahl and Schweiger take the old rescue story through Wagner's Nibelungen figures, and it is mostly about two mismatched men learning to travel together.
