Alex (Natalia Tena) takes a year-long residency in Los Angeles, leaving her partner Sergi (David Verdaguer) behind in their Barcelona apartment. Carlos Marqués-Marcet plays out their relationship through laptop screens and phone calls, two rooms on opposite sides of the world, each night starting where the last connection dropped. Alex and Sergi keep reaching for each other across the distance, and neither can say how long that will hold.
