10 Cloverfield Lane

“Monsters come in many forms.”

Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) wakes up chained in an underground bunker after a car crash, and the man who owns it, Howard (John Goodman), tells her the air outside is no longer safe to breathe. She shares the space with him and Emmett (John Gallagher Jr.), with no way to check his claim. Dan Trachtenberg, in his first feature, keeps the camera inside those few rooms and lets the walls close in.
