“A cop... A killer... A deadline...”

Leo Kessler (Charles Bronson) is a veteran detective who knows who killed these women, and he cannot make it stick. The man is Warren Stacy (Gene Davis), an office equipment repairman who kills after women turn him down, always naked except for gloves, always with an alibi ready. J. Lee Thompson keeps the film tight on Kessler's frustration as he starts bending the rules to get his man.
