Balan K Nair (Dulquer Salmaan) writes a column and has not forgotten the girl he shared a school with and a bad history with. Years later he meets Sheela (Nithya Menen) again, and the old friction gives way to love, which he decides to win. Jenuse Mohamed's debut then hands Balan a problem he did not plan for: Sheela is already engaged to another man.
