“Based on the true story of the team that inspired a nation.”

Rusty Russell (Luke Wilson), a football coach with a past he keeps to himself, takes a job at the Masonic School for Orphans in Fort Worth, Texas, during the Great Depression. His players are underfed boys in hand-me-down gear, led by Hardy Brown (Jake Austin Walker), and Doc Hall (Martin Sheen) is on hand to look after them. Ty Roberts directs this true story from Jim Dent's book as a plain, sturdy sports picture.
