13 Days, 13 Nights

Kabul, August 15, 2021: the Taliban are closing on the capital, American troops are packing to leave, and the French embassy is the last Western mission still open. Commandant Mohamed Bida (Roschdy Zem) runs its security, with about 500 people sheltering inside. Martin Bourboulon builds the film from Bida's own account, and the weight sits on Bida and Eva (Lyna Khoudri), two people who have to trust each other with everyone else's lives.
