“Live by your own laws.”

A rebellion is forming against the emperor, and Qinglong (Donnie Yen), commander of the assassins who serve him, learns his own allies are behind it. Daniel Lee sets the fight scenes in a stylized, richly colored martial world, with Sammo Hung Kam-bo as the Prince and Wu Chun as the Judge of the Desert. Qinglong holds to his oath, and it leaves him with almost nowhere to stand.
