1408

“The Dolphin Hotel invites you to stay in any of its stunning rooms. Except one.”

Mike Enslin (John Cusack) writes bestselling guidebooks about haunted hotels and has never once believed in any of it. He wants to add room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel to the list, whatever the manager, Gerald Olin (Samuel L. Jackson), says to talk him out of it. Mikael Håfström keeps Mike inside the room, and the film turns on what is left between him and his wife, Lilly (Mary McCormack).
