16 Wishes

“Everyone's sweet 16 is special, Abby's is magical.”

Abby Jensen (Debby Ryan) has kept a secret list of sixteen wishes since she was a little girl, and her sixteenth birthday is finally here. It goes badly wrong at once, until a mysterious box of magical candles shows up and the wishes begin to come true, one after another. Peter DeLuise, directing from Annie DeYoung's script, keeps the tone bright and the pace quick, a Disney Channel fantasy built around a single day.
