An accident swaps the souls of Jack Watson (George Burns), an 81-year-old millionaire, and his 18-year-old grandson David (Charlie Schlatter). Paul Flaherty sends them each into the other's life, the old man loose in a college kid's body and the kid stuck in a failing one. Behind the jokes sits a plain question of what you would do with your years if you could trade the ones you have.
