Across the city, every mobile phone lifts off its owner's hand and flies away, drawn toward a single mass of swarming handsets. The cause is Pakshi Rajan (Akshay Kumar), an ornithologist who died angry over what phone radiation does to birds. Shankar sends Dr. Vaseegaran (Rajinikanth) to bring back Chitti, the robot he once shelved, and Vaseegaran has to face the machine he built.
