“Never rob a bank across from a diner with the best donuts in three counties.”

Bobby Trench (Denzel Washington) is a DEA agent who has spent months working alongside Michael Stigman (Mark Wahlberg), a partner he assumes is just another crook. Stig is actually an undercover Naval Intelligence officer, and each man has been told to investigate the other. Baltasar Kormákur leaves them squabbling over a stolen fortune, two liars who have to find out whether they can trust each other with a gun at their back.
