2 or 3 Things I Know About Her
“GODARD ON PROSTITUTION IN MODERN LIFE”
Paris in 1967 is filling with new high-rise apartments, new appliances and new things to want. Juliette Jeanson (Marina Vlady) lives in one with her husband Robert (Roger Montsoret) and their two children, and she goes out to sell herself to cover what they owe. Jean-Luc Godard whispers over the images in his own voice, and the film keeps asking what the city's prosperity does to the people inside it.
