2001: A Space Travesty

“The most outer spaced-out comedy ever!”

Marshal Richard "Dick" Dix (Leslie Nielsen) wants to be taken seriously, though the US Marshals Service has picked him as its best man for a mission nobody else would touch. Reports say the President is a prisoner on Vegan, a secret international moon base, while a clone sits in his place on Earth. Allan A. Goldstein shot the film in Canada and plays Nielsen's straight face against everything around it.
