Fifteen years after the first film, a man known only as Friend holds the world's loyalty, and nobody can say who he is. The New Book of Prophecy lays out his plans to wipe out humanity, and Kanna Endo (Airi Taira) gathers the old allies, among them Otcho (Etsushi Toyokawa) and Yukiji (Takako Tokiwa), to stop him. Yukihiko Tsutsumi keeps Kanna at the center, a girl whose missing uncle Kenji (Toshiaki Karasawa) is the one thing she is chasing.
