Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess), a brilliant MIT student, joins an elite card-counting team led by Micky Rosa (Kevin Spacey) that turns blackjack into a systematic advantage over the house. The group works Vegas casinos in coordinated shifts, pulling thousands each night, but casino security tightens as losses mount. Campbell rides the money and the rush until the operation begins to fold under its own weight.
