22 Female Kottayam

Tessa K. Abraham (Rima Kallingal), a young nurse in Bengaluru, is betrayed by her lover Cyril C. Mathew (Fahadh Faasil) and then assaulted by his employer, Hegde (Prathap Pothan). She is sent to prison, and when she is released she sets out to get back at the men who did it. Aashiq Abu stages the violence plainly and without a swell of music, so the film never lets the audience look away.
