28 Years Later

“Time didn't heal anything.”

Spike (Alfie Williams) is a boy raised on a fortified island that connects to the mainland by a single causeway, twenty-eight years after the Rage virus broke out. His father Jamie (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) leads him across it into the infected country, and his mother Isla (Jodie Comer) is ill and in need of treatment the island cannot give. Danny Boyle keeps the boy close to the two of them, and the trip turns on what a mother and son have to carry for each other.
