“In the quietness of empty houses, love finds a voice.”

Tae-suk (Jae Hee) moves through the city's empty homes, staying while the owners are away and paying for it by washing their clothes and fixing what is broken. One night he lets himself into a house that is not empty, where Sun-hwa (Lee Seung-yun) is hiding from her husband. Kim Ki-duk keeps the two of them almost wordless, so the film is carried by their movements and by the golf club Tae-suk keeps close.
