36th Precinct

“Revenge is not justice.”

In Paris, a gang of violent thieves is working its way through the city while the top job at the Judicial Police stands empty. Leo Vrinks (Daniel Auteuil) and Denis Klein (Gérard Depardieu) both want the chief's seat, and each is hunting the same crew. Olivier Marchal spent twelve years as a police officer before he wrote it, and he builds the story partly from real events of the 1980s.
