40 Seconds

Willy Monteiro Duarte (Justin De Vivo) is a young man trying to live quietly in his neighborhood, unremarkable and kind. One night, a group of men corners him on the street, and in the forty seconds that follow, everything breaks. Alfieri traces what led to that moment and what hangs in its aftermath, showing how quickly a life can be taken from someone who did nothing to deserve it.
