Scott Nelson (Robert Lansing) is a scientist who wants his work to matter, and his brother Tony (James Congdon) keeps getting the credit. Together they build an amplifier that lets a person pass through solid objects, and Scott tests it on himself. Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. treats the invention as a question of cost: every gain on the body has to be paid for somewhere.
