4L

“Nothing happens in the desert, but on board a 4L everything happens”

Jean Pierre (Jean Reno) and Tocho (Hovik Keuchkerian) climb into their friend Joseba's old 4L with his daughter Ely (Susana Abaitua) and set out from Spain for Tombuctu, Mali, where Joseba lies dying. Gerardo Olivares sends them south across the Sahara, the two men bickering over every mile. Jean Pierre, once a womanizer and now a quieter man, drives toward the friend he has to see before it's too late.
