“The true story of a boy... a girl... and the movie that changed everything.”

Pat Johnson (John Francis Daley) is a teenager in Wadsworth, Illinois, who spends his days making movies and feels like the only person in town who cares. Patrick Read Johnson, who wrote and directed, follows him through first love and a house that doesn't quite understand him. Underneath the story sits a plain idea: wanting to make films can feel like loneliness until someone else sees what you saw.
