(500) Days of Summer

Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) works at a greeting-card company in Los Angeles and falls for Summer (Zooey Deschanel), a new colleague who seems to complete him. She doesn't believe in love, he can't stop trying to prove her wrong, and they begin a relationship that splinters across 500 days. Webb tells their story out of order, jumping backward and forward through time to show how the same moment can feel like everything and nothing at once.
