5150 Elm's Way
Yannick Bérubé (Marc-André Grondin) falls off his bike in a quiet town where he has come to study cinema, and knocks at the nearest house to wash the blood from his hands. The house belongs to Jacques Beaulieu (Normand D'Amour), a devoted chess player who sees himself as a man cleaning evil out of the world. Éric Tessier keeps Yannick inside those rooms, and the last thing the film settles on is a chessboard, the pieces set out and waiting.
