“It's Saturday night fever every night.”

New York, the late 1970s, and a crowd presses against the rope outside Studio 54, hoping to be noticed. Steve Rubell (Mike Myers), the club's owner, plucks Shane O'Shea (Ryan Phillippe) from the faces at the door and puts him behind the bar. Mark Christopher keeps Shane close to Anita (Salma Hayek Pinault) and Greg Randazzo (Breckin Meyer) on the staff, two people who see how much he wants the room.
