“Evil will rise.”

Cara Harding (Julianne Moore) is a forensic psychiatrist who has built her career on proving that multiple personalities are a fraud. Her father, Dr. Harding (Jeffrey DeMunn), sends her a patient named David (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), who speaks in several voices, and each of them belongs to someone already dead. Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein hold Cara in the same room with David as the voices change, her notes filling page after page.
