Brigitte Kuhlmann (Rosamund Pike) and Wilfried Böse (Daniel Brühl) are German radicals who help seize an Air France flight in 1976 and force it down in Entebbe, Uganda, with 248 passengers on board. José Padilha cuts between the airport, where Idi Amin (Nonso Anozie) plays host, and Jerusalem, where Rabin and Peres disagree over what to do. Each side is certain it is acting for the people it claims to protect.
