7 Days in Hell
“The epic battle for epicness.”
Wimbledon, 1999: a tennis match between Aaron Williams (Andy Samberg) and Charles Poole (Kit Harington) starts on a Monday and does not end until seven days later. Jake Szymanski tells it as a documentary, with a solemn narrator (Jon Hamm) and talking-head interviews about the longest match ever played. Williams and Poole spend the week trading serves and insults, two rivals who cannot stop hitting a ball at each other.
