“The distress code is only the beginning.”

Tobias Ellis (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a soft-spoken young American co-pilot working a routine Berlin-to-Paris flight. Patrick Vollrath keeps the story inside the cockpit, where Tobias and the captain, Michael Lutzmann (Carlo Kitzlinger), have only seconds to react when terrorists try to take the plane. One hijacker, Vedat (Omid Memar), ends up closer to Tobias than anyone should be, and the passengers and crew are depending on him.
