7th Floor

“Every second counts”

Sebastián (Ricardo Darín), a successful lawyer in Buenos Aires, leaves his ex-wife Delia's (Belén Rueda) seventh-floor condo to take his two children to school. They race down the stairs while he rides the elevator, and he waits on the ground floor for them to arrive. Patxi Amezcua builds the film around the distance between parent and child, and how quickly a father's certainty can fall away.
