“The team that defied all odds. The game that united the country.”

Kapil Dev (Ranveer Singh) captains an Indian cricket side that arrives at the 1983 World Cup with almost no one outside the dressing room expecting it to win a match. Kabir Khan follows the fourteen players and their manager PR Man Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) toward the final at Lord's, where the two-time champions West Indies wait. What carries them is a captain's stubborn belief, and belief, when a whole squad shares it, becomes a thing a country can hold.
