9 Songs

“2 lovers, one summer, and the 9 songs that defined them.”

In London's Brixton Academy, a packed rock concert ends with two strangers in bed. Matt (Kieran O'Brien), a young glaciologist, later remembers the affair while flying over the silent ice of the South Pole. Michael Winterbottom cuts between the live songs and the months Matt spends with Lisa (Margo Stilley), and what he holds onto is the way two people learn each other's bodies.
