Lucy Clark (Eva Bourne) is a lawyer who has climbed to partner by Christmas Eve, alone in her apartment with her promotion. A mysterious rideshare ride sends her back to 1999, where she finds herself at her mother's house with her sister Grace (Katherine Barrell) and best friend Alexa (Alex Hook), and the boy she loved in high school. She moves through the holiday knowing what she lost, watching her younger self make the choices that emptied her out.
