“Celebrate the holidays like a mother.”

Amy (Mila Kunis) wants one Christmas where she isn't the one holding the whole thing together, and so do her friends Kiki (Kristen Bell) and Carla (Kathryn Hahn). Then their own mothers arrive for the holiday, including Ruth (Christine Baranski) and Isis (Susan Sarandon), and the house has to hold them all. Jon Lucas and Scott Moore keep the focus on the mothers and daughters, each pair still arguing over the same old ground.
