A Beautiful Imperfection

Lucia (Dar Zuzovsky) flees to Amsterdam after smallpox scars her face, leaving behind Giacomo Casanova (Jonah Hauer-King) in Italy. Sixteen years later, veiled and reinvented as a courtesan, she encounters him again, and they become lovers without him knowing who she is. The question becomes whether she can let him see what she has hidden, and whether being seen changes what they are to each other.
