Elliott (Christopher Nissen) is a young fisherman with a singing voice he has kept to himself. A music producer hears it and offers him a way out of the boats, and a shot at being known. Mehdi Avaz follows him as he weighs that offer against Lilly (Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas), who asks him to open up, with the fishing life still waiting behind him.
