“When doing right goes very, very wrong.”

Sun-woo (Lee Byung-hun) runs a hotel for the crime boss Mr. Kang (Kim Yeong-cheol), and he is trusted with the dirty work as well. Before leaving on a trip, Kang gives him an errand that sounds small: follow Hee-soo (Shin Min-a), the young woman he keeps, and find out if she has someone else. Kim Jee-woon sets up the job with a clear order attached, that if Sun-woo finds the two of them together, he must kill both.
