A Call to Spy

“Ordinary women. Extraordinary heroes.”

Virginia Hall (Sarah Megan Thomas) is an American who wants to serve in the war, but a disability keeps getting her turned away. Vera Atkins (Stana Katic) recruits her for Churchill's secret army, along with Noor Inayat Khan (Radhika Apte), a pacifist. Lydia Dean Pilcher shows these three civilian women becoming a sisterhood as the missions grow more dangerous, and the film is about the cost of that closeness.
