A Candle for the Devil

“Spine-chilling suspense!”

Marta (Aurora Bautista) runs a small hotel in Spain with her sister Verónica (Esperanza Roy), and the two of them hold the foreign guests to a strict religious standard of behavior. Eugenio Martín opens on a British tourist who disappears at the inn, just before her sister Laura (Judy Geeson) arrives expecting to meet her. Laura keeps asking after her, and the sisters keep smiling and answering, each side watching the other.
