A Chorus Line

“One singular sensation!”

One question hangs over a bare Broadway stage: what will the director do when Cassie (Alyson Reed), the dancer he once loved, walks in to audition? Zach (Michael Douglas) has seventeen hopefuls left to choose from, and Richard Attenborough keeps them in a single theatre, each asked to step forward. Cassie needs the work badly enough to ask him for it, and Zach still has to decide whether the past stays out of the room.
