A Christmas Carol

“It only takes one night to change your life.”

It is Christmas Eve in Dickens's London, and Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey), a miser who counts every coin and begrudges every kindness, goes to bed in his cold house. Robert Zemeckis follows the visits that wake him, spirits who lay out his wasted youth and the cruelties of his present. By morning Scrooge must choose between a death nobody mourns and a change in how he lives.
