“Is true love only in the movies?”

On Christmas Eve, Eve (Lana McKissack) and her cynical sister Lacy (Kimberly Daugherty) make wishes to Santa and wake up in Christmas Town, stars of a Christmas movie. Eve has watched them all and wants a movie-perfect boyfriend, and Paul (Brant Daugherty) turns up ready to fill the part. Brian Herzlinger sends Eve through the snowy postcard town, and when the story goes off script, all her knowledge of the genre is not enough to put it right.
