“Can the girl with a dream voice sing happily ever after?”

Katie Gibbs (Lucy Hale) wants to sing, and she notices the new boy at her performing arts high school, Luke Morgan (Freddie Stroma). Her stepmother Gail (Missi Pyle) and stepsister Bev (Megan Park) are working to crush that dream before Katie ever gets a chance to use her voice. Damon Santostefano builds the story on a plain idea: a girl's voice is the one thing nobody else can take from her.
