Un Flic

Paris in 1972 is a city of wet streets and cold offices, where Commissioner Édouard Coleman (Alain Delon) runs his cases and keeps a quiet affair with Cathy (Catherine Deneuve). What he doesn't know is that she belongs to Simon (Richard Crenna), a nightclub owner who has just led four men through a bank robbery. Jean-Pierre Melville sets the cop and the thief on the same side of a woman, and neither of them says much about what that costs.
