“Fun at Sea! His Cabin, His PJs, Her Move!”

An ocean liner leaves Hong Kong for New York in 1967, carrying the American diplomat Ogden Mears (Marlon Brando), newly appointed ambassador and a married man. Natascha (Sophia Loren), a Russian countess, hides in his stateroom, and Ogden has a wife, Martha (Tippi Hedren), waiting at the other end of the crossing. Charlie Chaplin's last film leaves him one ship's voyage to hide her before the gangway comes down in New York.
