A Crime in Paradise

Jojo Braconnier (Jacques Villeret), a farmer in the French countryside of 1980, wants his wife Lulu (Josiane Balasko) gone, and the only thing that stops him from killing her is the guillotine. She is ill-tempered, he is worn down, and neither can afford a divorce. Jean Becker sets their quarrel on the farm, where Jojo stands in the yard, hands in his pockets, still weighing it.
