A Dangerous Method

“Why deny what you desire the most.”

Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender) is a driven young doctor who takes on Sabina Spielrein (Keira Knightley), an unbalanced and beautiful patient, as the first real test of Sigmund Freud's talking cure. Freud (Viggo Mortensen) is the master he answers to, and David Cronenberg sets the three of them in rooms where everyone talks. Both men fall under Sabina's spell, and what grows between her and Jung is harder to name than doctor and patient.
